Ken’s Big Adventure
Take one grumpy fifty-four year old pest controller and send him off to do missionary work in our former colonies of Canada and the USA and the result is bound to be chaos. Add into the mix one expatriot Mensan Brit and four other visiting members of Mensa, two of whom he has never met and it has got to be a holiday of a lifetime.
He’ll probably end up in gaol! (Only spelled it that way to confuse the colonials!).
His hostess is a cordon bleu chef and all-round good egg who has no idea what she has let herself in for.
We are planning diverse and perverse activities which may include, skiing, dog sledding, dining at Niagara Falls, visiting Canadian vinyards or maybe just staying home and getting completely sloshed!
This blog will document the fun, frolics and er….fights…on a daily basis.
Posts, photos and videos will begin on 22nd December and hopefully continue on a daily basis until 10th January, so check in daily and check out the ‘Latest Posts’ tab for all the lowdown on the Canadian snowdown!
One thing is for sure, it will be cold, check the forecast below so you know just how cold Ken is on a daily basis.
Wish me luck!

Please can you add a graphical Grumpometer to tell us how cold and grumpy Ken is each day, and can you also tag the photie to indicate which hairy animal is Ken. Ta muchly. xx
Your wish is my command and a mood indicator has been added to the blog to indicate the level of the Chadwick grump on each post!
Have a great time, we are seriously jealous! LOL
Looking forward to your blog to cheer our days stuck here in Blightie, but do be careful out there, I’ve heard those colonists can get trigger happy in the woods and you could get mistaken for a yeti if you’re not careful.
Bring me back some salt water taffy and I’ll be your friend forever!

See you in February in Milton Keynes! LOL
If you’re going into the Woods tell me if it’s true about the Bears …
